I wanted a nice unlined fabric rug and it is perfect. I have new floors in my house and I didn't want anything that would cause discoloration. The rugs are a bit thinner than "rag rugs" but they also give my kitchen and hallway a more sophisticated feel than that type of rug. I also wanted to be able to throw my rugs in the washing machine and wash them when needed. Other reviews have mentioned that these mats are slippery. They slide a little, but that doesn't bother me at all. I like unlined rugs and use all of the fabric rugs around the house so I knew they might slip a bit. This does not detract from the overall performance. I am thrilled how these rugs have given my home!
