Review on πŸ”Œ OLLGEN 3M/10ft OBD II Vehicle ECU Memory Saver Cable with Alligator Clip-On 12V Car Battery Cigarette Lighter Extension Socket Power Supply by Logan Goozmer

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works well but doesn't need instructions.

Blown fuse in my 2016 Subaru Crosstrek when connected to OBDII. I looked it up in online chats and many others had the same problem. WILL NOT WORK WITH SUBARU. May work with other brands. Updated 11/11/2019. I looked into that a little more closely. You must not allow any light or radio to come on or any electrical voltage of any kind to be present when connecting to the vehicle through the OBDII connector. From what I've read this will inevitably blow the fuse. With that in mind I have two other machines that will be getting new batteries before the end of the month and I will try again. Keep the key fob away and roll down the window and the door will stay closed. The overall rating has been increased to 3 although it works well because the instructions don't highlight it at all. I wasted my time locating and replacing a blown fuse. Otherwise good concept. Update November 26, 2019: Performed two more battery changes and no problems. A Hyundai and a Subaru. I made sure it wasn't drawing power when using the backup battery and everything went according to plan. Well! I have raised my rating to 4 stars. It would easily be 5 stars if only the instructions were complete. Never let a light, ring, etc. pass while using the battery to save storage space and it will work as advertised!

Cons
