Good design. The fill is pretty low. If you're used to using impact armor and the like, let me tell you that this body armor has nothing to do with padding. Under no circumstances can he take a direct hit. I feel all the punches, strong. Not fun at all. I think it's good to prevent an accidental bump or two. But if you think you can wear this and let me mourn you, you won't like it. I can take a hit from my wife and my 11 year old and I'm fine. But when I asked a friend to wear it, a few strokes and it was enough.
