I bought this chair for my father. He's missing his left leg above the knee and somehow he hasn't had a shower problem in years without duct tape or anything. Then one day he told me that he fell into the shower and was afraid to go there. I immediately looked up one of these shower chairs on the Revain website and found one that could support his weight and that he liked. He is no longer afraid to shower and loves this chair. The chair was very easy to assemble without tools. All this is twisted with thumbscrews that can be tightened with bare hands. They screw tightly into threaded inserts (which are already in the plastic) with washers between them. The plastic is very durable and easy to wash. There is also a small hole in the seat to prevent water from pooling on it. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who needs help showering or just wants to stay seated while washing their feet.
