Review on 🌡️ Thermometer with Suction Cup for Floating Marina by Mariana Vasquez

do not buy! in Aquarium Thermometer

I bought this thermometer to try and had two major problems with it. First, the suction cup did NOT hold. This thing was always floating freely in the tank and even submerged through the waterfall filter in my turtle tank. No matter how carefully and neatly I attached it to the walls of the tank, it never stayed in place. Second, the thermometer in my tank crashed! I don't know what caused it exactly. It could have been my turtle, it could have been a waterfall, or it could have been pushed hard under water when I poured water to fill the tank after cleaning. Whatever it was, it wouldn't have happened if the suction had just held it to the wall. Here's why you're NOT buying this: When it broke, not only was there shards of glass in my tank that could have cut my turtle, but also the little metal balls you can see on the bottom of the thermometer that keep it upright. also released. They sink and are not sucked up by the water siphon/gravel cleaner, so they have to be laboriously removed by hand. I'm guessing it was the iron balls, but I'm not sure, and maybe they stuffed the chemicals into the tank! A cheap thermometer strip would be a better choice. Don't buy this!
