It's aesthetically pleasing.
I bought two. I hate clutter on my kitchen counters, bread, fruit etc.So now I have everything nicely tucked onto the tiers. I LOVE IT!I have had to turn the center pedestal in order to tighten it a few times. I believe that because I have heavy bottles of water on it, it becomes loose. But that is seriously not an issue.
