Finally solved a hard-to-fix Explorer power block problem

Help a neighbor fix his 99 Explorer power block. The lever kept coming off the key assembly in the LF door. The internal connection of the latch assembly is unstable/stuck. When turning the key, the linkage jammed in the door lock and the linkage rod came loose. Tired of taking off/on/off/on the same door panel etc, bought a new latch assembly and it fixed the problem. The old latch might have been able to be undone, but it was covered in the dirt and grime of 20 years. This one works like new!
