The upside is that it's long. The downside is that it's long. This product depends on the needs of your application. I'm going to slide it into a 3" vacuum system tube and use a claw to get any stuck dirt out. For that it works great. If you do a lot of tight turns with it, you can't push the piston and let the extractors come out. There will be too many friction locks inside. It's great that it's very long, which is great, but it makes it very flexible so you might need to attach it to something rigid to solve this problem. Overall I'm happy with the product as long as I don't try to use it outside of its workforce.
