Ordered to work on 7 speed bikes, 2 TREKs and 1st Specialized. The chain tool worked perfectly. The quick links for the 7 speed chains were unusable because they were all too narrow. I put a gauge on them and they measured 6.7mm at their widest point. All 3 chains were actually 7.0mm. I had to pick up a suitable link from my local bike shop (it was a KMC brand). Incidentally, there are even narrower options for other chain types in the link package. I think this would be handy for those who work with multiple bikes of different types. In the end I threw out all the links because others wrote here that they are garbage anyway. So if you want to buy this product, only do it for chain breaker. Pliers are "nice to have" when it comes to removing limbs.
