It doesn't make sense since the zip ties' adhesive seals won't stick.

I bought these to install a built in water filter on the back of my fridge. I cleaned the back of the fridge, attached 5 adhesive mounts and tied the filter to the mounts. I then attached 2 side by side to neatly manage the excess water line. After 5 minutes I heard a loud noise and all 7 fasteners came loose. I tried again, this time attaching 7 to the water filter and 3 to the plumbing. This also took about 5 minutes. Currently the water filter is securely attached - with zip ties - to 7 useless adhesive mounts lying on the floor behind the fridge.
