Review on ✨ Silver Polish Kit for Shining Twinkles by Casey Murphy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

PLEASE READ THIS FIRST IF POLISHING SILVER

Polishing TONS of silver items a friend gave me because they looked awful. Items have not been polished for over 20 years. I have used it as intended and it looks like NEW. Spent almost a week polishing everything. amazing things. Small things have a big impact. Use warm water, rub in circular motions, rinse, buff, repeat. This is the first thing you should do now. For really tarnished items, take a really large pot of very low boiling water (lined with aluminum foil) and add 1-2 cups of sea salt and ACTIVE baking soda (not dollar store). If the water isn't hot enough, the baking soda won't fizz. Place objects in water and watch the tarnish transfer to the foil. I used the tub for larger items. Worked great. After that I used Twinkle over and over again until everything looked like new. There was some bass stuff too, and he soaked it in white vinegar. Works amazing. Vinegar is acidic, which is why it works. My only complaint is that the sponge isn't that durable. I bought a mop sponge from the dollar store, tore off the sponge and cut it into 3 pieces. Works great and the best dishwashing sponge I've ever used. When you have all this done, buy Protectaclear and seal your silver. forever and ever. You'll never have to polish again. It's also food safe. I bought a 16 ounce can of Revain. The same price everywhere. Small things have a big impact. Use a fine bristle brush and clean the brush QUICKLY after each use. It dries very quickly. 1-2 layers are enough. I've spent hours studying polishing, cleaning, sealing etc etc. This process works. It's a LOT of work and I don't want to polish anymore. Hope that helps. Happy polishing!
