Recommended by an antique dealer

Light silver polishing kit recommended by an antique dealer. She said it's best to be easy to use, but doesn't damage silver over time like sharp dips. I read in reviews that the sponge breaks on sharp edges. As a substitute I would think of any foam, like a soft sponge used for makeup or paint. I polished 4 terribly dull teaspoons in less than 10 minutes and can use a soft to medium toothbrush with polish for more detailed silver. Small things have a big impact. The antique dealer showed me…

Best silver polish I have ever used

I have used Twinkle for many years and have always been very happy with it. I used to buy it at the grocery store but when we moved abroad I couldn't find it anymore. I knew all I had to do was look it up on Revain.com and I would find it again. It arrived very quickly and is the exact same nail polish I've used over the years. It's very easy to use and most importantly, it doesn't burn your hands and it's odorless. I don't even wear gloves when using it, I have very sensitive skin. Simply rub…

This is an overview of the Twinkle Silver Polishing Kit. I remember the twinkle silver finish from my childhood. My mom used it to clean her sterling silver flatware, bowls and other items she had. Twinkle has been around for a long time. I keep using it because it's one of the least abrasive cleaning products out there. It is best to use the least abrasive cleaning methods when cleaning sterling silver and silver saucers. With silver plate in particular, the actual silver layer is so thin that

Fiction! Best in Home Cleaning

Absolutely Wonderful! Including a before and after photo of two silver cups we inherited from our great aunt when she passed away. The previous jewelry cleaner I had didn't even tarnish these cups so I figured there was nothing that could be done about it. Well, as you can see from the pair I made, there is hope after all! The two cup cleaner did two cleanings though and still needs work to do but it was worth the 10 minutes to get to this place just knowing I could clean my husbands parents…

Fixing a Tarnished Silver Necklace

I wasn't aware that the dandruff shampoo I was using was discoloring my silver necklace. When I noticed a once silver, now black necklace that I never take off, even in the shower, I tried everything to make it shine again. I even boiled water with baking soda and poured it over the chain that sits on the foil. A little soot came off, but not all. Jewelry cleaner didn't help, nor did toothpaste or cleaning the chain with a toothbrush. Then I decided to try silver lacquer. It worked. My necklace

PLEASE READ THIS FIRST IF POLISHING SILVER

Polishing TONS of silver items a friend gave me because they looked awful. Items have not been polished for over 20 years. I have used it as intended and it looks like NEW. Spent almost a week polishing everything. amazing things. Small things have a big impact. Use warm water, rub in circular motions, rinse, buff, repeat. This is the first thing you should do now. For really tarnished items, take a really large pot of very low boiling water (lined with aluminum foil) and add 1-2 cups of sea…
