I thought this would be an affordable answer to my kitty litter situation. I've had and loved the Litter Genie for years, but the refill cartridges are so expensive! I found this alternative and was happy to find a replacement. The bags look and feel very solid and durable. I was hoping it was just an accident as the first one broke while draining the genius. Big mess. Then I packed the next portion in a double pack. When emptying both bags are still torn. Shredded like tissue paper. Neither the litter we use nor my cats' droppings are jagged or sharp, so I don't know why this happens. Very very disappointed. Also wasn't thrilled with the need to clean up all the rubbish that was spilling everywhere. Untenable. Not good. Not recommended.
