This beautiful hardback 7.5x10 inch journal comes packaged in an attractive box and is perfect for gift giving. I ordered this for myself, though. The pages are fairly thick, but I wanted to test different inks for bleed-through for the purposes of this review. One of my gel pens in dark purple did bleed through. A thin marker did not, and a fine tipped pigment marker also did not. If I were you, I would test a page with different markers before using.The colors and designs on the pages are beautiful. There is an elastic strap to serve as a bookmark or to keep the journal closed.
