Very easy to install, yes they are bright but every time you start the car and/or turn on the fog lights it throws a CAN bus error. I was so annoyed to delete the code and see it every time I started the car, but I learned to "just live with it". I've gotten so used to seeing an error code (and just ignoring it) every time I start the car that I've overlooked/didn't see another (unrelated) error code that was critical to my car. I was going to unplug and plug the lights back in after clearing the code/disconnecting the battery and one of them broke in my hand! I was being gentle with them the whole time and I removed the exact reverse installation and somehow one of them literally broke in half! Apparently cheaply made. I'm a BMW mechanic and enthusiast and wanted a cheap fog light alternative for my E90 3 Series and got ripped off. Don't make the same mistake I did. Do not buy!
