I just received this product and forgot I bought capsules as I have bought BCAA powder in the past. Capsules: I'm a little unsure whether I prefer the convenience of capsules or the cost effectiveness of BCAA powder. I think I'll order both next time and use the capsules when I run out the door and the powder when I have a little time to have a glass of water with the powder. In comparison, there are: - 33 servings in this capsule pack (3 capsules per serving) for around $13; - 667 servings in the smallest pouch of BCAA powder from this company for around $30. If someone bought 3 packs of capsules for around $29 or a pack of powder for $30, you would only get 100 servings of capsules compared to almost 700 servings of powder. Thus, the powder bag is much more economical (although the "cost" of these savings is the loss of portability). Product itself: As for the product itself, I haven't had the capsules for a long time, but it seems to be a quality product. The capsules have no flavor and when I used the powder I put it in water with other additives/powders so I don't know if the powder has any flavor. If so, then I didn't notice. I would recommend this product especially for those who are on a tight budget.
