You need to change this for it to work. The hood doesn't have a "stopper" (chain or whatever) to hold it down, so it leans WAY too far back and still doesn't make a full 180 degrees to stop on the counter behind. This means you have to reach for a hot pan to open or close it. Not perfect. Because of this, when the hood is fully open, the pan is unbalanced and the pan may tip backwards. I'll have to do some sort of mod for this, like drill holes in it and attach a chain on each side, or put some metal stops to prevent it from tipping back so it only opens 90 degrees. This allows me to open it up and cook in the pan without worrying about it. I installed it just before the trip and didn't have a chance to test it. If I did I would remove it until I made my changes. 2 stars because I can't bring myself to give only 1 star. If it had stops I would give it 5 stars but it's a critical flaw.
