Review on 🌍 G3 Gold: GlocalMe's SIM Free Charges for Global Connectivity by George Mack

One important information is not revealed anywhere: the prices of packages and packages as such differ depending on the country of residence (which cannot be changed after activating the device). I am currently traveling in the US. When researching I was shown US packages + prices which I thought would work very well. I bought and activated the device by registering in my (European) country of residence. When trying to buy a data package, I was only shown packages for my country of residence, which are much more expensive and therefore completely unusable for me. I was trying to be smart and created a second US account, so I figured I could use it to sign up with GlocalMe to get better prices. What happened: I couldn't sign in to GlocalMe with a US account, but I could sign in to the app. My previous European account allowed me to log into GlocalMe, but not the phone app, so I couldn't even buy data anymore if I wanted to. I feel like this concept kills the idea of a global hotspot. I tested the device on the US West Coast and in most places my phone had the best reception, most of the time GlocalMe had little to no service. The support was completely helpless, almost rude and didn't answer any of my questions. Overall I am absolutely disappointed and will be returning it.
