I'm an Audi technician and I understand what needs to be used to change the air temperature signal at the cam. But I was skeptical of the actual performance increase it could offer for my 2004 Audi with a 2.7 twin turbo engine. In just 5 minutes of installation I was able to prepare the exhaust gas readiness and on the first test drive I could feel the difference in Phoenix when it's 110 degrees outside, my Audi would now have a kind of turbo lag that has been eliminated and one is worth three. the cost of this very inexpensive chip. Whether or not I get a big boost in power, I can't say the machine will cost more than the chip, but I can say there's a very noticeable boost in power on my 2.7 twin turbo engine, depending how smooth it is My acceleration is from a dead stop into 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears so I know the turbos will work better in warmer ambient temps when driving as if the ambient temp is 55 degrees and not is 110 degrees.
