Review on 💪 Hitachi 885443 885-443 Pumping Unit with Flywheel for EC2510E: Power and Efficiency Combined! by Jeff Davidson

Just installed this today and it looks like a quality compressor pump for the price. My old Campbell Hausfeld compressor pump failed so I bought this as a replacement. I had to modify the mounting plate, make a new vent tube, and increase the pulley size to 4.5 inches. My pump runs at 1320 rpm and I'm fine. 7 CFM from him. (Filled my 60 gallon tank from 0 to 100psi in 8 minutes). I ran it for about 15 minutes and noticed that there is a small amount of oil next to the air filter. I cleaned it and I hope it doesn't happen again. On an electric motor, it runs very quietly compared to my old one. Cons: This pump is not complete as it does NOT have an oil drain plug which is required. I was able to purchase it through Revain for about $20. It also doesn't come with the recommended Hitachi compressor oil, which is extremely hard to find and quite expensive. The recommended oil is no longer made so you will need to buy from a private seller on ebay.
