I installed it side by side in a dual headlight, one lighting a 500 watt halogen on the left and the other lighting this bulb. Add that you can see a big difference, maybe the LED light is equivalent to 150W, maybe a little less. So it's not a bad one, and even a powerful bulb, but no match for a powerful halogen. Of course, after a minute the one on the left was boiling hot and would probably burn out even if I moved the lamp, and the one on the right was barely above room temperature, so if you're looking for a convenient yet powerful replacement for your halogen bulbs you don't have to go with a 500- W flashlight compete, this is a great option. Edit: I bought another one to compare. These are: R7s 118mm 110V J-Type LED, J118 30W double-ended LED bulbs (200-250W halogen replacement), 2700 lumens dimmable daylight, 6000K spotlight funny picture but this new one (left) is a bit brighter and whiter. But neither is brighter than the other, so both options are the same, ask me. I'll let you know if any of them don't last long.
