Review on Kensington MicroSaver Retractable Portable Notebook Lock - Optimized for PC/Mac by Michael Powell

I use a Mac, thanks to the universal small hole these locks work on any type of computer, PC or Mac, without programming (thankfully). I'm a law student, so I study and work in the library most of the day. Sometimes you just have to go to the toilet. I found this little gadget gives me peace of mind. It's smaller than it looks in the picture above; it fits in the palm of my hand and I don't even notice it when I'm carrying it in my backpack. Obviously, since the cord is retractable, it will never snag on other things in my backpack, unlike other laptop locks, which are essentially just a spool of wire. This lock works, it's portable, and it's likely to keep your laptop where you left it. Remember the scene in The Simpsons where Lisa tells Homer that her stone scares tigers away. Maybe, but then again maybe tigers don't exist just because no tigers live in Springfield. So maybe this lock protects my computer, but then again maybe no one will steal it in the first place.
