Purchased with Meguiar's G3500 DA Power System Tool. We decided to try this on our machine where the clear coat is peeling off. Although you may still see some traces of the clear coat, the result is much better than if the clear coat continues to peel off. We watched a few YouTube videos and took the following steps: 1. Wash the area you want to work on with warm, soapy water. 2. Wet sand with 2000 grit sandpaper until smooth.3. Wash the area again with warm, soapy water and dry with a cloth.4. Put some compound on the pad and start buffing (use a drill). You may have to repeat this several times to cover the entire area you want to cover. When you're done, you can wipe away any traces of the compound with a clean cloth. If your main goal is to remove light or heavy scratches, this may not help.
