Of course I thought it was just another trick. I have both Philips and Oral-B toothbrushes and have bought many different versions of both over the years. I'm not particularly interested in other types of brush heads than Philips Sensitive brush heads (Philips Sonicare Sensitive replacement replacement heads, HX6053/64, 3 pack) because my gums hurt if I overdo it. - Use the Philips brand. However, when I saw these new "crossed" heads, I saw something in the photos of the heads that caught my attention: a slight "twist" of the bristles that I hadn't seen on any other heads before, and was so intriguing me this me enough to try. I thought the worst that could happen is that I have another pair of heads that don't work any differently than the normal ones and since you have to replace them every three months or so in order for them to work properly (readers beware: this is a KEY factor in ALL electric toothbrushes - change these heads AT LEAST every three months if you want an effective cleaning) at least nothing is wasted. Well, I got a real surprise. After my first try with this new design, not only did I immediately feel the increased comfort of the head itself, but once I finished the first brushing I noticed a noticeable difference in the cleaning action of this head. Without a doubt, this is now my favorite and favorite Oral-B brush head. Because it works so well, I "miss out" about $7.50 per head. In fact I've already bought another set of two to last through the end of the calendar year for fear they might not be available when I need them. The design is comfortable, cleans exceptionally well and I would highly recommend them to any Oral-B user no matter what case (model) you use. In fact, I'll probably never buy "regular" design heads again because this design is so effective!
