I like that the brackets have a low profile and it's easy to eventually mount the crossover on them. But on my custom truck mounts, they could be more careful about where to drill the screw holes. Almost missed the rail gap under the edge to get at the stud and the rear hole was lucky it just got into the open slot in the truck rail when they tried. The bed rail end caps may have played a small part in this, but even the Amazon photos showed that they were installed over the bed end caps. But overall it worked. Do yourself a favor and get cartridges with stainless steel lock nuts. You don't have to worry about rust. For Ford F150 FX4 2013
