I have tried many lighters. That's the first thing I really love. It's a lot of little things. Feels firm, even heavy, which I like. That's good form. Easy to grab. The button you press to ignite is well designed and easy to use. And it makes a nice, less clicking noise than most lighters. That was important to me. Noise doesn't bother me, but my wife does! Especially when she's trying to take a nap in the next room. Until the lighter got in her way. It's not exactly quiet, only the sound is quieter. I like that there is a window to check the fuel level. The flame control wheel is a great feature. Easy to use, no more trying to turn the groove with a tool, and the groove is exposed, making it difficult to adjust. Just spin the wheel! Brilliant. I love flame too. On a low setting it's a gentle flame, on a high setting it's like a windbreak. It uses fuel faster at higher settings, but I'm fine with that. I've never reviewed a lighter, but since it's very hard to find one I like, I want to share my experience.
