This remote control holder is exactly what I wanted. Adhesive tape keeps the holder in place. I've had it for about 1 month and it's still there. It's great to have a place for my remotes which has pretty much saved me from having to hunt for my remote a lot now that it has its own place. My only complaint is that the delimiter is shorter than I'd like. There are times when I only have one of my remotes in the cradle and that remote often falls into the cradle. So I added a little velcro on the back of the remote and in the holder to keep the remote upright, but other than that it's a great fix for a lost remote. I also bought a mount for my portable AC remote control.
