Installed in just over an hour! Basic tools needed: drill bit, 1/2" drill bit and under. I started with 1/8" and went to the end concentric holes, T-5/16 hex handle, tape measure, and partner for tightening the screws while under the truck and hold the included nutplates. Do not drill through the fuel tank! great product I laid the spare on the bed, centered it, placed the belt on the tire and planned where the belt mounts should be. I suggest using a "high fold" in the bed so the plate with the nut is in it (under the bed it's a low fold) and easier to hold while your buddy tightens the bolt. On the other hand, I have to say that this was my second order from Amazon. My kit included a Y-harness, a front single with a ratchet strap, and all the hardware. HOWEVER, my first purchase (not reflected in the review) was a strap. After searching Amazon, I found that this was a recurring issue, but my money was refunded after I started doing returns and refunds. As the saying goes, don't let that put you off.
