Review on Ironwood Gourmet Acacia Wood 🍃 Double Tea Box - Rectangular Vauxhall Design by Gina Putnam

This just arrived yesterday, well packaged and undamaged. The finish on the tea box has been applied unevenly and there is a dry corner in the top right corner where no coating has been applied at all, ruining the look of the beautiful tea box. Also, the hinges are offset rather than straight, so I'm sure this will affect the wear and durability of the box. If properly machined and the hinges were square, it's still not the quality I would expect for the price. It is also not as deep as my former tea box, although it has 10 tea compartments, it holds less tea than my former bamboo box. I was hoping to upgrade to a prettier tea box, my previous box hinges broke after about 20 years of constant use but I don't think this box will last long so it might come back.
