Review on πŸ’ͺ Effort Saving Scissor Jack: 2.5 tons (5,511 lbs) Capacity with Ratchet Handle - Ultimate Lifting Solution by Derek Kraft

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Seems solid enough but the crank mechanism is boring

Looking at the online description, the ratchet crank seemed like a great idea. This is actually tedious: You only get an incomplete crank, i.e. part of a circular movement, and then you ratchet the next crank. This is much, much slower than a regular crank, which has a long, 90-degree offset shaft that you can turn continuously. Also, I doubt that the ratchet crank really gives you that much more torque, so it probably doesn't require less effort from the user. That "feature" aside (which I consider a major downside) it seems to be quite durable. . Be sure to lubricate the threaded rod as instructed.
