When matches run out, it is very annoying. I hate using regular lighters and they use lighter fluid after all. It's a great alternative and knowing you're only one charge away from the light source you need. The lighter makes a clicking and popping noise when first started (this is what the instructions say, as usual). I feel it takes a little getting used to knowing where to hold the lighter, like on the wick of a candle, to get a good and quick light. Even with my lack of experience it gets the job done and you get whatever you want to rock! The neck is flexible and seems long enough to handle most uses required. Definitely something you'll want to have on hand. !
