I work in a nursing home for people with intellectual disabilities. My main consumer that I work with has been dealing with very dry, cracked feet for quite some time. I put lotion in different strengths and natural products like coconut oil on his feet at least 3 days a day for several weeks. While this improved the look a bit, if I missed a day it looked just as bad as ever. His skin was so hard and dry it formed a barrier that lotion couldn't penetrate. The pedi egg was the option I considered to get rid of all the dry, calloused skin. I have no experience with pedicures, never have, have never done anything like this before. I chose this product because it seemed to have the best reviews overall. When I received it I immediately tried it for the first time that I could. We soaked his feet first to soften the skin. After the first lap I could definitely tell a difference in a few places. But as I said, his feet were very dry. The shavings this thing collected, even though it was crazy. I had to throw it in the trash between my legs. Later that day we decided to get another pedicure just to see what else we could dig up and it was only after the first and second pedicures that the appearance of his feet changed dramatically. We have done 4 so far and apply lotion daily between pedicures. Its legs are almost "ordinary" - as if they belonged to a living human body! I can still get a pedicure, but after that he has to do it every once in a while depending on how bad his legs are again. Most likely, your feet are not as dry and cracked as this person's. Also, you are most likely a woman. I can't say this is better than any other similar product, but I can tell you with 100% certainty that this is the real deal. I am very happy with it.
