This miniature tripod is very practical if you don't want to carry your big brother around with you. I love hiking, but I rarely need my full-size Manfrotto and it's more than what I want to pack for those "maybe" moments. It's so small I hardly notice it's in my backpack. My only complaint at the moment is that when I set it up I like to put the legs back in so they stay at the desired angle. Sometimes on soft ground or when trying to use it on a slope it won't stay in place. The weight of the camera is too much, even with an 18-35 kit lens.
