Sharp as the Devil in Santoku knives

Saw these knives online and thought they would be a great addition to my wife's knife set. She currently uses several high quality knives, but I didn't want to pay big bucks for something that might not last long in a drawer. Received the knives just before Christmas, they were packaged fairly well in a rather handsome black box. (no cardboard cover) They have ribbon and bow and viola! As for the product itself, these are some of the sharpest, thinnest edges I've seen on a blade. I have a stainless steel French fillet knife that might come close, but that's about it. I held up a piece of paper and cut off the corners like strips of spaghetti so this baby was smashed through the air. Cutting strips of paper while holding a piece in the air is a good test. Blunt knives tear or pull the paper, sharp knives slip through. These suction cups are sharp! The handles are quite nice and very light but could do with some improvement. There is an obvious seam line on the plastic that could have been easily smoothed out during manufacture. Otherwise the knives are perfect. For the price I highly recommend these knives, they are a great addition to your kitchen set. I almost forgot, but they are black blades! Get out of here, they look amazing. I will update in a few months.
