This electric drill is very powerful. It seems to poke through almost anything with the right bits. The only problem is that the drill chuck can be lost at any time, especially while drilling. When this happens, it's only natural for me to hold onto the drill (put it back). THE BAD: The drill is so HOT it will burn your fingers. I learned and will never do it again. I only received it a few days ago, I will test this drill more thoroughly to see how tight the chuck holds if I tighten it before each drill. I drilled another dozen large bits through 3/4" hardwood. He did it with ease. The drill bits hold tight while I tighten the drill chuck when I put in a new drill bit. Upgrade to 4 stars. Lots more drilling to do .Forgot to mention when I first got it the drill chuck was so tight I couldn't loosen it to put the drill in. Tried so many times and I was almost to the point of wanting to send it back and Wizardry the chuck is turning slightly now!The problem is I don't know what I did to get it done.This seems to be a problem many buyers have.I had the opportunity to make a small one Insert a grinding wheel into this drill bit. Use it to sculpt marble and it will work reliably for about 45 minutes without losing the grinding wheel. Also use a large drill bit to drill holes in 4" thick wood. Have it with ease made. VERY STRONG DRILL. UPDATE: Now the chuck is stuck, I can't seem to open or close it. I hope the manufacturer lives up to their 1 year warranty period. I bought a $20 cordless drill (standard size) and flashlight set from Harbor Freight at least a dozen years ago and they still work after years of heavy use. I am so disappointed that this powerful drill broke too quickly. I would like to give 0 stars.
