I make concrete molds at work but with a frame hammer. But when it came time to take the mold apart and remove a few 16 inch nails and/or metal stakes, I broke a couple of wooden-handled hammers in the process. That's why I chose this hammer because it's all metal and I don't have to worry about the wooden handle and its good price. There is no magnet starter for nails, the surface of the hammer (which is nails) is a bit small, so I don't recommend it for framing or shaping, but for construction work, this hammer is unbeatable. There is a shorter and lighter version of this hammer, but I went with the larger BC. at 23 ounces i love this manly shit. all builders will benefit greatly from this.
