Excellent and well balanced hammer. I bought it to drive in some nails along with a pneumatic nailer to build a shed for my backyard. This hammer worked like a champ and I am very happy with its balance, nailing power and ability to pull out some nails. It's also forged and made in the USA, so you can't go wrong.
Pros
FORGED FROM ONE PIECE - the strongest and most durable striking tools on the market
I'm building a shed, sometimes the boards warp within a day of buying them from a big store . box store. This hammer allowed me to pry the boards back while I used the frame nail gun to set them in place. Then, if the nails don't go all the way in, this heavier hammer will hammer them in nicely. The claws work well but could be a bit sharper.

PATENTED HAMMER TOOTH DESIGN - Added torque to easily pry open and straighten 2 boards
Love it, perfect for dock building and framing. Edit: I just came back to explain how much I love this hammer. This hammer's claw effortlessly splits logs twice. Instead of picking up my saw, I flip my hammer and use the claw for most of my demo. This hammer is a cross between a sledgehammer and a hammer. I LOVE THIS HAMMER. Lost another wing installing piles with a 3 inch water pump while building a dam. I fell into a hole and I'll never see it again. But I'm glad I have one now ๐

I've searched every local Home Depot and Lowes store for one of these shark tooth hammers and couldn't find one. I have a toolbox full of finishing hammers (smooth finish) but nobody had that shark tooth for straightening warped wood. I use this hammer for everything framing! Tip 1: If you want an all round workhorse I would suggest getting the smooth finished version of this hammer. I used this 1 time to hammer electrical staples, skipped the brach and hit the 12/2 wire and the rough surfaceโฆ
I make concrete molds at work but with a frame hammer. But when it came time to take the mold apart and remove a few 16 inch nails and/or metal stakes, I broke a couple of wooden-handled hammers in the process. That's why I chose this hammer because it's all metal and I don't have to worry about the wooden handle and its good price. There is no magnet starter for nails, the surface of the hammer (which is nails) is a bit small, so I don't recommend it for framing or shaping, but forโฆ
