What you need, a cool purchase, I advise you.
I did not expect such high quality photos, by golly. Bought this yesterday as a Christmas present for my mom. The main requirement is that it be easy to manage and not take up much space. The fotik justified itself, and the first pictures turned out to be beyond praise! In order to take a picture, you need to press only two buttons - on and off - and you're done. After the DSLR, it was very pleasing)) 2 GB cards are enough for more than 700 pictures of the highest quality.
- The price-quality ratio is at a very high level. At a cost of 3500. gives very bright, beautiful photos. Very easy to use - a great choice for a gift for the elderly. Lightweight, small size.
- There is no low battery indicator. A bit thick compared to the Canon brothers (due to the battery compartment). Actually, the batteries themselves, I think, can be attributed to the minuses. Still, carrying a battery charger with you on vacation is extra baggage (I have it fancy, not easy), and buying batteries every time is quite expensive.
