UPDATE -It took a little bit, but they did reach out and remedy the problem. This is a beautiful and full tree. It's so beautiful that I don't want to take it down. I still have it up, lit and fully decorated. ;)------------------After spending about 4 hours setting this tree up and getting all the branches just right. When I plugged it in. WOW! So beautiful, and the pine cones really add something special. The default mode is steady white. Unfortunately, the eight modes are more like four: Steady white, steady multicolor, seizure-inducing white flashing, and seizure-inducing multicolor flashing. These lights DO NOT twinkle, as stated in the description. They flash obnoxiously! The tree worked the first night perfectly. After that, the lights had a mind of their own. They would randomly turn off for hours and then suddenly turn back on, only to turn off again in a few minutes. I contacted the seller and received NO RESPONSE whatsoever. Terrible customer service. After some troubleshooting, I decided to buy a replacement plug. VIOLA! The tree has worked perfectly ever since. Beware! If you buy this tree and it works for a day or two and then stops, it's probably a faulty plug like mine. It was just a cheap ole crappy plug made in China. Save yourself the frustration and order a replacement plug at the same time. You'll need it.
