To be honest, I only got this telescope yesterday. But it was easy to assemble. To set it up, you'll need to watch a few YouTube videos to actually use it. The instruction manual was in 5/6 different languages but the photos were very small and didn't always show exactly how everything should go and in which direction. However, there are videos you can watch that will help you if you are new to this. She came in several boxes, like a Russian nesting doll. But it was definitely safe when it was delivered. It was a bit cloudy last night so after setup we were able to see a lot of really great detail on the moon, can't wait to see clear skies and a full moon! I've dreamed of a telescope since I was 5 years old until this one exceeded my expectations and I look forward to new possibilities! By the way, the included software is phenomenal! I'm throwing it out tonight :)
