Great Rear Tire - Sport

I've only had three or four rides on this tire so I can't speak to durability but I can say it soaked up everything I threw at it. Roots, rocks, dirt, loose and even hard filling - this tire seems to do it all. It can be a little aggressive on the front tire in the conditions/terrain I ride, so I should consider swapping out my front tire for a grippier one. I think this is an amazing rear tire. She definitely looks like it. At first I was concerned that this would be an enduro tire but the size of the lugs is not as big as it looks in the photos so they not only matter but look appropriate. Actually ditch the gray sidewalls too. This is a nice contrast to the black rims and profile, especially with my all matte black frame. As a front tire it could be a bit aggressive so I'll swap the front tire for a stiffer one. I think this is an amazing rear tire. Fitting the tire was a challenge, but no more so than other commercially available tubeless tires. I use Orange Seal and no problems so far. Once he burped on a hard landing, but he's recovered and all is well. I'll definitely let you know if my mind changes, but I'm very glad I took it.

Pros
  • DH's dirtiest trails inspired the Mota tire. Designed for use on professionally maintained trails, these lugs cut into soft terrain to provide premium traction on the slickest of surfaces.
Cons
  • I'll add later
