I've always had a Mizuno and been happy with it, but this time I tried Asics. My first attempt to walk lightly on a treadmill caused my heel irritation. The second attempt gave me back pain due to moderate over-assist. The third, fourth and fifth attempts gave the same results. Then, on the sixth try, I got huge blisters on my heels that kept me off my shoes for a week. It turns out these Asics shoes aren't flexible enough to accommodate the stride, because even if you try to fold them with your hands, you can see how hard it is.
