I love helping my family members with their sporting activities. Cheering on them at softball games is one of my favorite things to do. Last season, I watched our family's last adult games graduate slowly wander through the park's parking lot without a bag. A bat was tucked under each arm. The boots were tied and hung around the neck. They were holding a sports drink bottle with a change of clothes pulled over it. The lack of a bag piqued my interest because our big, big family has collected a lot of gear, and bags are an example of the items that circulate in the family from brother to brother, cousin to cousin. The discovery of this bag was accidental. The brand alone is impressive. Rawlings has been a part of my whole life and I have complete confidence in him. It's like my first Rawlings bag, but more sophisticated and ornate than I remembered decades ago. It's about 20 inches high, 13 inches wide and 10 inches deep, doesn't look very big but is surprisingly roomy with two batwing sleeves. There is a zipped compartment at the top that doubles as a compartment for storing keys, a phone, maybe gloves and the like. Large items are safe and convenient. A second, smaller, zipped compartment is located within the first to hide items such as a wallet. The main part of the bag is accessible from the front. It zips up and is big enough for shoes, clothes and more than a few bottles of sports drink. Below that is another plastic-lined zipped compartment, not as obvious or as large, but perfect for hiding items that need washing and storing them out of sight. I have included photos to show the thoughtful design and construction of the bag. Easy-to-access front fold-out compartment is ideal for quick glove storage.
