Review on Feit Electric BPQ500T3 CL Service by Kim Adams

This lamp is rated for 130V, not 120V. I had an issue with this lamp (actually several identical lamps) where these bulbs burn out and the lamp is difficult to reach. Replacing a lightbulb takes about 1 hour. The 120v bulbs I used need to be replaced every 3 months or sooner. I've been using this higher voltage bulb for about 6 weeks (on photocell only at night) and so far so good. A lightbulb guru told me that a rheostat (dimmer) lowers the voltage and increases the life of 120v lightbulbs. Instead, I believe that increasing the bulb's voltage rating will have the same effect. Even though it's only been 6 weeks, so far so good. My individual story aside, the bulbs were of high quality and arrived in a reasonable time at a reasonable price.
