Review on PerTronix 91181 Ignitor Adaptive Cylinder by Prettyboy Capers

I bought this Petronix to replace my old one. I have no problems with the one installed which I just wanted to replace before it fails. When I received it, I noticed that the edge of the Mylar tape on the magnet was peeling off a bit, but I didn't care too much about it. I had good spacing between the modules and there was no interference. After 3 months of trouble free driving, my car wouldn't start this morning. After fixing everything I found a spark so I removed the distributor and found mylar wrapped around the distributor shaft. All the magnets were scattered around the manifold. I figured I could reinstall the magnets and get it working again, but ended up finding the module was damaged. I've never seen this before. I have been using Petronix for many years but am very disappointed with this one.
