Review on 🛡️ 3M 3614 15: Ultimate Protection for All Surfaces by Doug Darling

3M products are usually the best in the business and I always use 3M products when they are available. This is one of the few times he has let me down. I tried using this to install a carbon fiber spoiler, but the tape didn't stick well to the raw side of the carbon fiber. I thought the glue would be flexible enough to work between the ribs of the fiber, but it isn't and it will come loose fairly easily. Yes, I could sand the underside completely, but that's a significant amount of prep work. I deliberately chose this tape over duct tape because I wanted to avoid a lot of prep work. Finally, sticky paste would require less work than duct tape. It's probably great for other uses, but maybe not for fiberglass or carbon fiber parts.
