Review on Enhanced Security meets Modern Style: Kwikset 98180-020 San Clemente Single Cylinder Low Profile Front Lock Handleset with SmartKey Security, Matte Black by Robert Weeks

I was thrilled to have this handle set to match the new lock on our door. It was about double the price of other similar locks from other manufacturers, but I wanted it to fit. Upon unboxing, the instructions were unclear as they included pictures of the screws included in the box labeled "actual size" that were off by almost an inch. I still don't know if that was the right part. The lock was packaged upside down in the opposite direction from the handle that was in the same box. This gave me the first impression that it was an inappropriate set. Not a big deal in the end as there is a way to get it back in the right orientation but that was annoying and just sloppy packaging. The handle inside the house is hanging down. It's just generally weak looking for something that costs $150. Overall I'd say it was a decent buy but overpriced and the sloppy packaging and sagging handle were the worst part of the experience.
