This is my first console, except for the NES clone. I can’t say that I didn’t follow the world of consoles, I had all the emulators of popular consoles including PS2 on my computer, but until recently I didn’t think about buying one. Why - yes, because I'm not used to spending money on games. It's no joke, buy games for 1000-2022. a piece when they can be downloaded from a torrent for free. But somehow it so happened that slowly I began to come to the conclusion that it would not be bad to take a console for myself. I am a fan of the Gran Turismo series. And of course, even now I think that the GT2 part is not bad, but time does not stand still, I would like better graphics. GT4 even on my PC even after the upgrade (amd a-x4-760k Radeon 7770 2Gb GDDR5) slows down. In the end, I realized that it is cheaper to buy a new set-top box than to make another upgrade. Then there was a dilemma, what to take, originally wanted PS4. And what, nextgen, epta. Bought and three-4 years do not bathe with a computer upgrade! But the question arose what to play. I looked at the range of games and felt sad. Nothing on the road. One multi-platform that runs quite well on my PC. Favorite GTA5 will soon appear on your computer, when the new GT will be unknown. And the games cost 2022-3000. And it also turned out that the new PS4 does not play video from external media + you have to pay for it online. Imagine, you need to pay for multiplayer and you can not fully use the console as a media center. In general, it became sad. (( No, there is of course still PS3, but why buy the previous generation ?! But! I read the reviews, looked at the catalog of games, the price of used toys and became thoughtful. And then a bundle came out, which included a chic set of games from two of my favorite GT6 + GTA5 series! In addition, all this was cheaper by 6000. Then it was decided - I take.
- Now I can say for sure, I didn’t go wrong with the choice. The two most toys that you can play for a very, very long time. There are also free demos. I think later to buy One of us, part 2 uncharted and the second part of the Little Big Planet. This will last me a very long time. Graphics of course for 3-ku in games. Specially connected to the monitor and turned on two identical toys (Batman Arkham City). the resolution on Sonya is less (a little soapy) + weak anti-aliasing (ladders) But! Still, the graphics are quite on par for a 2022 console. I use the console as a media center.
- The main drawback is that it does not see NTFS. I solved the problem with reading mkv using the PS3 Muxer program. The program will recode mkv into a console-readable format. And very promptly. Movie 1080p in 12 GB, encoded 4-5 minutes. 720P to 4.3 GB in 2-3 minutes. If necessary, you can choose to split the file to the desired size.
