I bought this magnifier to quickly attach to my portable digital magnifier. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max phone with a very good protective case that is very difficult to remove or put on. What I love about this device is that it works with my case and not only is it wide enough to clip in, but it's also adjustable. I can then place the magnifying glass on one of the iPhone 12 Pro Max's three lenses so that all three cameras can be used to zoom in, out and in between. I used it to test one of my Roman coins which is a very small coin the size of a pinky fingernail. As you can see from my photos, the first photo was taken just with the iPhone camera and as close as possible before it starts to look washed out. With an attachable magnifying glass, you can see the difference and get closer to the details. I also took a screenshot so you can see how I use the 1x, 2.5 and 0.5 zoom levels in Apple's Camera app. I liked using the wide angle camera which creates a very nice backlit view on my coin. I also took some shots of the lizard egg and it looked so cool. Overall I love this little magnifier and would recommend it to others.
