Review on πŸ–₯️ LattePanda 2G/32GB Development Board - Windows 10 Mini PC - V1.0 Edition (No Win10 Product Key) by Jeff Jackson

So far so good, cool little board with Windows support

I tried running Windows 10 on an 8GB RPi4 but too many features didn't work, especially the RPi's touchscreen. I stumbled across this and bought one along with an IPS display and digitizer. It arrived quickly, I set it up and downloaded it. It comes with Home version installed but not activated with a user profile already set up, Windows version 1809. I downloaded the latest version from MS and created a USB installer. I booted it from USB and was able to install Windows with no problems. I only used SnappyDriver to install missing drivers. If you ever use it, only select missing drivers. Installing new drivers too often also corrupts things. Well I love it, it's a relatively fast little processor, the latest Atom processor I've played with a Dell netbook years ago and the Atom has come a LONG way! Also, before receiving, I asked a question about dual monitors and got a "no” response from another user. I bought it to use in an RPi touchscreen case with a ribbon cable and connect it to a large monitor via HDMI. I tested it and it actually works with two monitors and switches between duplication and expansion with no problem. Back to the touchscreen, I couldn't get it to work even after searching and following the recommended procedure, so I returned it and will look for other options. What I love about the RPi's touchscreen is that it only has one ribbon cable for the display and touchscreen, too bad LattePanda didn't do anything similar. I'm enjoying it so far and once I've completed this project I'll check out the alpha model.
